"VS." REMIX: EHRLING x TEX CADEY x POST MALONE - WHITE IVERSON (SELECTA HAZEY VS. REMIX)
This track was 90% ready a month ago, but I took a moment to work on learning some new mastering tools, so this is the first track of mine using some new production techniques.
This #vsremix was a new challenge, as the request was two primarily instrumental tracks.
Using new tools/methods I was able to create mixable "stems" (drums, keys, bass, etc.) from each track, and create a new "mashed up" instrumental. After I added the Post Malone vocals, I had a good mix, but with so many tracks/stems involved, a lot either stands out, or becomes hidden in the final mix. After some self-tutoring with new tools, I was able to clean up parts of the mix much more efficient. Also gained a lesson about mastering the final track, once it is "rendered."
